Between 3 May and 1 October Pegasus will operate to Dalaman every Monday and Friday, from both Gatwick and Manchester. 

There will also be direct flights every Sunday from Gatwick, Birmingham and Manchester to Antalya and from Stansted to Bodrum, all operating 2 May-17 October.

In addition Pegasus operates a daily, year-round scheduled service from Stansted direct to Istanbul, and onwards to Ercan in North Cyprus.

In total, the airline connects to 18 destinations across Turkey from Istanbul, including Ankara and Izmir.

Pegasus also operates to 18 international destinations from Istanbul, including Amsterdam, Athens, Berlin and Zurich.

Established in 1990, IATA member Pegasus began scheduled flights on 1 November 2005 and since then has carried over 23.2m passengers.

Owned by ESAS Holding, part of the Sabanci family group of companies, the airline is managed by chairman Ali Sabanci and general manager Serta Haybat. 

Pegasus currently operates a fleet of 24 aircraft but will increase this to 41 by 2012, primarily through an order of Next-Generation Boeing 737-800s.

In April 2009, ESAS acquired an 18.3% share in Air Berlin, and the German carriers flights can now be searched and booked via the Pegasus website.
